lash + brow services
What is the cancellation / rescheduling policy?
Your appointments are very important to all members of our team at LABB. Time allocated for an appointment is reserved especially for you. We do understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for adjustments to your appointments and for cancellations. All our policies are designed to benefit our guests and to provide the best quality and tradition of excellent service for our established and future clientele. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services they need. We ask that all new and current guests supply a credit card to have on our files. All cards on file are added to the system via a secure electronic process that ensures the information is encrypted and remains secure.
In the event that we do not receive the required notice for adjustments and cancellations the following fees will be applied to your card or alternatively billed out to you: Notification given at least 24 hours prior to your appointment will receive no charges.
No-Shows or notification given less than 24 hour prior to appointment time will result in a cancellation fee amounting to 100% of the cost of the scheduled service.
LASH EXTENSIONS
Although it is not recommended, you can. However, it must only be a water-based mascara (not waterproof). Do not use oil-based or water-proof mascara. To remove eye makeup and mascara - we highly suggest using LABB’s lash and brow cleansing bath. Oil tends to break down the adhesive.
Yes, we recommend our Lash + Brow Growth Serum by LABB to all of our clients to maintain the health of your natural lashes. You can purchase it at the time of your appointment.
Yes. The bonding agent is waterproof and allows you to shower, swim, exercise, etc. However, do not wash your eye area for the first 24 hours after each application. Additionally, heat from steam or water can loosen the adhesive bond allowing for the glue to become flexible and can cause sticking or release of extensions. Please note that it is important that you carefully cleanse your lashes and lash line.
Please do not use an eyelash curler on your eyelash extensions as they damage the extensions.
LABB prefers to use only a medical-grade adhesive to apply the eyelash extensions. The FDA does not regulate eyelash extensions since they are applied to the natural lash and do not touch the skin.
Keep in mind that the application process is pain-free and very relaxing. Most clients take lash naps during their appointment.
We also offer a sensitive adhesive for our clients with delicate eye areas. The sensitive adhesive contains formulated Cyanoacrylate and no Carbon Black to reduce fumes and possible irritation. Allergic reaction are rare occurrences and are usually the result of incorrect eyelash extension application, seasonal allergen or improper at-home care.
If properly applied, extensions will not damage your natural lashes. Training is a top priority for the LABB team. We never compromise the integrity of the natural lash, and our goal is to improve your lash cycles and growth, not inhibit it. Therefore, we will recommend supplements and LABB’s lash + brow serum to maintain the health of your lashes. We never use lashes that are too heavy or use excessive glue as a way of giving you volume.
It is important that you are cleaning your lash line daily so that buildup does not occur! LABB lash + brow cleansing bath is highly suggested as it was specifically formulated for lash extensions!
Yes, of course! Please select “new client fill” when you are booking your appointment to ensure we have enough time to go through an in-depth consultation. We are not familiar with what you are coming in with, so it’s important we have enough time to go through them and clean everything up!
Lash extensions should not hurt when applied correctly. They are applied with professional tools by isolating one lash, and adhering one extension to your natural lash for classic lashes or fans for volume or blended lashes.
Yes, your extensions can be removed at any time. You can book a lash removal on our site.
Not just for celebrities, normal, everyday ladies love eyelash extensions, and many become lash addicted! From a business professional, to a bride on her special day, to a stay-at-home-mom who just doesn't have time for makeup. Anyone who wants longer lashes that likes having the appearance of wearing mascara will love eyelash extensions. The extensions come in a variety of lengths, curls, and thickness so you can have the lashes you have dreamed of and that fit your style!
Make sure to clean your lashes daily with LABB’s Lash + Brow Cleansing Bath. Avoid using oil based products. Try to sleep on your back and avoid sleeping on your lashes or rubbing your eyes. When you shower, try to avoid letting the water beat down on your lashes.
LASH LIFT
The Lash Lift is a revolutionary technique that gives volume, curl and length to your natural lashes. Instead of a perm rod, your Lash Lift technician will first apply a specially shaped silicone shield around the eye. This ensures the product used in the procedure does not touch the sensitive area around the eye. To give your lashes that desired length and volume, an eye-safe adhesive is then applied to the top of the pad, brushing your lashes upwards. Next, a special lash-lifting solution is applied. This solution softens the bonds of your hair, molding it into the shape that the adhesive has set them into.
Please don’t wear any makeup and if you wear contact lenses, you will need to remove these before the treatment
No, the procedure is totally painless. You will have your eyes closed for the entire treatment and it offers you a chance to relax during the treatment.
No. The chemical procedure used in the Lash Lift is safe for and gentle on your natural lashes. You may experience some redness around the eye immediately after the process, however this will be from the pressure of the pads and should disappear within a few minutes.
We highly recommend getting a lash tint with your lash lift as it makes your lashes darker and more visible and enhances the overall look of the service.
Keep lashes dry and makeup free for the first 24 hours. Apply LABB’S Organic Castor Oil nightly to nourish and strengthen lashes. Avoid touching and rubbing lashes. Brush them into place each day with a spoolie. We recommend coming back every 4-5 weeks.
BROW HENNA
Henna is a 99.5% natural and plant-based product that has the power to stain the skin as well as the hair. Unlike regular tints, it contains no ammonia or peroxides. It conditions the brow hairs as well as encourages new hair growth. It is also excellent for those resistant grey & white hairs.
Results vary, however, most of the time you can expect the skin stain to gradually fade over 7-14 days and the hair tint up to about 6 weeks. Your lifestyle also plays a big part in longevity i.e. swimming, excessive sweating, using face products on the eye area etc. will all result in your henna brows fading faster than usual. We recommend coming back every 5-6 weeks.
A standard henna brow service should take no longer than 30 minutes.
Keep your brows dry and makeup-free for the first 24 hours. Avoid oily products as they break down the stain. If you have oily/combination skin, you may experience faster fading of henna. Avoid touching and rubbing the brows. Avoid AHAs and Retin-A’s around the brow area. We highly recommend booking your appointments in advance. We recommend coming back every 5-6 weeks.
It is best to wait at least 24 hours before getting your brows wet for best results.
The most important factor in extending the longevity of brow tint and brow henna is to not get the brow area wet for 24 hours after application. Also, exercising caution when applying any type of skin care products containing exfoliators (topical acne medications, retinol, lightening products, alpha hydroxy acids, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, glycolic acid etc.) Keep all of these away from your brows as they will strip them of their color and could harm the hair as well.
The chemicals in Brow Lamination and Brow Henna are not compatible. You are able to get these two services, but with 4-weeks in between, for both.
BROW LAMINATION
Brow lamination is a treatment that allows us to manipulate the brow hairs into a new desired position, either brushed up and fluffy or more as a corrective treatment for sparse brows.
Prior to your brow lamination appointment, we recommend the following:
Avoid using exfoliants, retinoids, or AHAs on your face for one to two weeks before your brow lamination
Avoid tweezing at least one week prior to your appointment (if you’re interested, we do offer the option to add on a brow wax to your lamination appointment)
Please come to your appointment without any makeup on your face
Avoid getting your brows wet or rubbing them for 24 hours. Avoid cream or oils in the eyebrow area and saunas for 24 hours.
We don’t recommend getting your brows waxed before a lamination as you will have made the area more sensitive and you don’t want the solutions getting into the skin. It is okay to get your brows waxed afterwards.
While reactions are rare, we recommend doing a patch test if you have sensitive skin. This will make sure that your skin won’t have any kind of reaction when the service is done.

We carry high-end brands of makeup including Makeup Forever, IT Cosmetics, MAC Cosmetics, Becca, Urban Decay, Benefit Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Nars, Charlotte Tilbury, LABB Collective and Too Faced Cosmetics. We have a variety of professional products to accommodate all skin types and skin tones. We use high quality products that have been proven to last through all of the sweat and tears.
Traditional makeup is the use of liquid or cream foundation, applied with either a makeup brush or sponge. Liquid and cream foundations tend to have a little more coverage, depending on which products are used and how much is used. We use quality foundations that are water-resistant and will last all day.
Airbrush makeup is a process where foundation is put into an airbrush gun and sprayed in micro dots onto the skin. We use Temptu professional airbrush makeup that is a semi-matte formula that delivers the most natural, skin-like finish. It is transfer and water-resistant and buildable coverage, sheer, medium or full. Airbrush makeup lasts through heat and tears(always remember to blot tears or sweat, never rub)! Sometimes we will combine traditional makeup alongside airbrush depending on the overall goal for the look we are going for.
We suggest booking your trial 1-2 months before the big day. LABB artists are generally booked 3-4 months in advance, so we suggest securing your wedding date as soon as possible. Most brides secure their wedding date well before their trial to ensure their wedding date is held. One to three months before your wedding day allows the artists to see your current hair and skin, so they can let you know if the hairstyle you request will work with your hair and/or suggest any advice for your skincare needs. This is also a great time to discuss any changes before the final invoice is sent out.
Trials are held LABB's studio in Edina. We offer trial sessions on weekdays.
Yes! Even if you do not choose to use our team for your bridal hair and/or makeup, you can still rent out the studio. Please inquire by clicking on the button below! Rates are customized to each person's individual needs.

BOTOX
BOTOX targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines — the repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, smiling and raising the eyebrows over the years. Your specialist will inject these muscles with BOTOX to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will begin to notice a visible smoothing of the frown lines between your brows, your crow’s feet lines and your forehead lines.
The mechanism of the injectable is key to understanding how Botox can be used preventatively. Botox works by blocking the signals from the nerves, telling the muscles to contract, and this makes the wrinkles relax and soften. This makes Botox ideal for wrinkles that come from the contraction of muscles- most commonly the 11’s between the brows, horizontal lines across the forehead and crow’s feet. By inhibiting the movement of these muscles- and training the face to avoid them, even as the product wears off. Wrinkles develop from the repetitive movement of the skin, getting the neuromodulator injections earlier can keep them from happening in the first place, rather than attempting to fix them after they’ve developed. Small treatments and maintenance over time will result in more natural long-term results.
The best time to start treating wrinkles is when they first appear. When wrinkles start to stick around even when you are not making a particular facial expression. When you start to develop the earliest sign of resting wrinkles, this is the best time to start treating them, before wrinkles start to stick- it is presumptive to assume that they will develop.
It’s a relatively quick treatment. Our nurse injector will do an in-depth consultation with you to assess your concerns. The treatment as a whole takes no more than about 30 minutes. It’s normal to expect a bit of bruising at the injection site, which in most cases disappears within a few days of the treatment. Redness and bumps can also occur in the hours immediately following the procedure, but they are usually minimal and can be covered with makeup. Don’t expect to see full, muscle-freezing results immediately: It does take time for the Botox to get absorbed
SKINPEN/MICRONEEDLING
SkinPen by Bellus Medical is a medical grade, state of the art micro-needling tool available through skincare professionals only. SkinPen is designed to stimulate your skin’s natural ability to produce new collagen formation creating healthier skin, and can be used to improve the appearance acne scars, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, skin texture as well as, fine lines and wrinkles. The repair process of your skin is accelerated by SkinPen through the creation of microscopic channels, which also allow products to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin resulting in better product outcomes.
The concept of micro-needling has been around for a while and is based upon the skin’s ability to naturally repair itself when injured. Immediately following an injury, our skin begins the process of dissolving tissue damage and replacing it with new cells. Micro-needling allows for controlled induction of the skin’s self-repair process by creating precise, micro-injuries in the skin, which automatically trigger new collagen synthesis without causing scar tissue formation. The micro-injuries also create channels that allow product to penetrate deeper into the skin resulting in better product efficacy.
There are numerous benefits received through use of SkinPen because new collagen production can reverse years of sun damage, improve the appearance of acne scars, stretch marks, and hyper-pigmentation, as well as enhance the overall appearance of aging skin.
One of the most exciting things about SkinPen is that it can be used on all types of skin and can be used to address a wide range of problems such as acne scars, stretch marks, fine lines and wrinkles.
A topical numbing cream is applied for the area prior to beginning the service. The unique design of SkinPen allows for individualized settings, which makes the treatment very comfortable for most patients.
The procedure typically takes roughly 45 minutes depending on the size of the area treated, number of areas and the severity of damage on the skin. Following your consultation, your SkinPen provider can give you a better idea of what to expect.
The total healing time depends on the severity of the damaged skin and the depth of repair process required. On average, patients have some slight redness/pinkness (like a mild sunburn) for 2-4 days. Some patients may heal completely in 24 hours.
Many patients notice healthier looking skin immediately. However, the natural repair process of your own skin continues to progress over the course of several weeks. Keep in mind dermal collagen remodeling takes place over time it is not realistic to expect damage that has occurred over an extensive period of time to disappear immediately. You may not see the final result until up to 3-6 months following your final session.
The number of treatments required will be determined by your skincare professional based upon your individual treatment goals and the health of your skin. However, it is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 3 treatments spaced about 4 weeks apart. For patients with deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks or acne scars, it is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions at 4-6 week intervals. We also recommend developing a maintenance plan with your skincare professional to help maintain the glow and rejuvenating effects of your personalized SkinPen treatments.
Use of SkinPen is contraindicated for patients with: a history of keloid scars, scleroderma, collagen vascular diseases or cardiac abnormalities; a hemorrhagic disorder or hemostatic dysfunction; or an active bacterial or fungal infection.
SkinPen is not recommended for pregnant women because the micro-needles produce micro-injuries on the skin, which naturally causes a repair process to begin. This healing process and production of new collagen requires vitamins and nutrients to be utilized that would otherwise be reserved for the unborn child.
Micro needling is proven to improve the following conditions: mild to moderate acne scars, fine lines, deep wrinkles, sagging skin, rough skin texture, pore size, sun damage, and stretch marks.
You will experience some redness and mild swelling for 2 to 4 days. You may even notice a slight bruising or several tiny blood spots, but they will disappear in 24 to 48 hours. Your skin will become smoother and radiant in a week.
This depends on the treatment intensity. If you have sensitive skin, you can apply numbing cream to minimize pain during the procedure.
You can receive treatment safely every 4-6 weeks.
There are over 150,000 procedures that were performed around the world, and there are no reported side effects.
Chemical peel, makeup or anything that are not non-comedogenic should be avoid immediately after a treatment for several days. This will allow your skin to heal completely. Sun exposure is not recommended.
LIP FLIP
A lip flip is a quick cosmetic procedure that lasts about 10 to 20 minutes. It involves the injection of Botox into your Cupid’s bow, which is the middle of your upper lip, and into the corners of your mouth. The injection temporarily relaxes the muscles around your lip. This causes the part of your upper lip that’s inside your mouth to “flip” upward and outward, giving your lip a fuller appearance.
People who opt for the lip flip procedure include those who are hoping to achieve fuller lips without a dermal filler, think their upper lip “disappears” when they smile, want their smile to appear less gummy, which is when your smile shows more of your gums than you’d like. Generally, the effects of the procedure last for 8 to 12 weeks. If you’re looking for a more permanent option, lip fillers might be better for you.
For 3 to 4 days before the procedure, you’ll need to avoid alcohol and blood thinners like aspirin, which can make swelling worse.
Following a lip flip, you’ll be able to resume most daily activities, though your upper lip may feel slightly numb and look swollen. Avoid smoking in the days after the procedure because it may increase the risk of infection. Keep from rubbing or massaging your lips, which can cause the Botox to spread. Try to sleep on your back for a few days so your lips don’t press against your pillow
Following a lip flip, you should begin to see results within a few days and continual improvement for several days after that. You’ll see the full effect of the lip flip approximately 10 to 14 days after the procedure.
